HUSITA 4 - Human Service Information Technology Applications
The themes of HUSITA 4 are built around three elements. The first examines the challenges posed by the original expectations of IT and the actual realities. The second element focuses on more specific and concrete points of view, encompassing productivity and effectiveness, global issues (particularly the transfer of technologies to less developed countries), gender issues, and the ethical dimension. The third and final element will focus on a number of topical issues such as: the Information Society; independent living; work practices and professions in the human services; and information-based knowledge.
An exhibition of products, systems, applications, research output, publications and the activities of companies and other organizations in the field will take place alongside the conference.
