HYDROTOP'96: Water and waste-water treatment

The third HYDROTOP conference and exhibition will take place in Marseille, France, on 16-18 April 1996. Launched in 1992, HYDROTOP is now an established international forum for all those involved in water and waste-water treatment. This year's event is being held under the distinguished patronage of Mr. Jacques Santer, President of the European Commission and of Mr. Alain Juppé, Prime Minister of the French Republic.
The HYDROTOP'96 exhibition will display a wide range of products and services in the areas of water management, purification, treatment and distribution. Exhibitors will include engineering companies, manufacturers and research establishments.
An international scientific and technical conference will run parallel to the exhibition. This will cover the following main subject areas:
- Drinking water quality;
- Planning and management of water resources;
- Water in the Mediterranean.
Three technical forums will also be hosted in the exhibition area, providing visitors with the opportunity to participate in discussions. These will focus on the topics of: industrial sludge; storage relating to the sedimentation of effluents in storm basins and the storage of storm water; and risk management. A programme of workshops and technical visits is also planned.
