Central and Eastern Europe trading with the European Union

Two concurrent trade exhibitions, CCE-EU'96 and CIS-EU'96, will take place in Paris, France, on 23-26 October 1996. These are aimed, respectively, at encouraging trade with the countries of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and with the newly independent states of the former USSR (CIS).

The exhibitions will provide opportunities for companies wishing to export to these countries to meet with both government officials and company representatives. Various funding programmes and agencies, including the European Union's PHARE and TACIS programmes will be represented at this event.

Sectors to be covered in the exhibitions include:

- Power supply and energy generation;
- Construction;
- Transport;
- Telecommunications;
- Environment;
- SMEs offering specialist products.
