TRANS-RUSSIA'96: International freight, transport and logistics projects conference and exhibition

The first international freight, transport and logistics projects conference, TRANS-RUSSIA'96, will take place in Moscow, Russia, on 2-3 April 1996. The conference is being held in conjunction with the TRANS-RUSSIA'96 trade exhibition to be held from 1 to 4 April 1996.

The aim of the conference is to provide an overview of transport developments in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and promote the growth of business partnerships in the freight, transport and logistics industry. Conference sessions will cover financing, key project areas, joint ventures, procurement and sales prospects, and developments in privatization. There will also be sessions on multi-modal transport and on individual modes of transport.

The conference will bring together the international business community, senior management of the Russian and CIS transport industries and representatives from the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), and the European Community's TACIS programme.
