CAiSE'96: Computer-aided information systems engineering

The eighth CAiSE conference on computer-aided information systems engineering will take place in Heraklion, Greece, on 20-24 May 1996. The main theme of this year's conference will be "Software engineering challenges in modern information systems (IS)".

Topics to be covered by the conference include:

- Open client/server-based IS;
- Digital libraries;
- Interoperable IS
- Global IS in the Internet;
- Multimedia IS;
- Re-architectured legacy systems.

The Community's Human Capital and Mobility (HCM) programme will provide financial support to selected young researchers and post-graduate students to enable them to attend the conference. Applications should be made to the conference organizers.
