A conference on "Chaotic phenomena in nuclear physics" will take place in Aghia Pelaghia, Crete, Greece, from 28 September to 3 October 1996. The conference is being organized by the European Science Foundation, in association with the European Physical Society. It is supported by the Community's specific programme for the training and mobility of researchers (TMR) under its accompanying measures activity (Euroconferences, etc.).

The conference will cover the following topics:

- Complete spectroscopy;
- Nuclear fragmentation and state to the neutron resonance;
- Transport phenomena;
- Chaos and tunnelling;
- Chaos and symmetries;
- Relations to other fields;
- Chaotic scattering.

Some grants to assist young researchers from the EC in attending the conference will be made available through the TMR programme.
