Third European Conference on Underwater Acoustics

The Third European Conference on Underwater Acoustics will take place in Heraklion, Greece, from 24 to 28 June 1996. It is organized by the Institute of Applied and Computational Mathematics of the Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas, and sponsored by the Community's specific RTD programme in the field of marine sciences and technologies (MAST).

The aim of the conference is to exchange ideas and results of new methods, instruments and materials related to the field of underwater acoustics. There will be four parallel sessions, with very limited overlap of related subjects. This year's conference will be the first to have an award for the best student paper, which the organizers hope will encourage more young researchers to participate.
