MIE'96 - Human facets in medical information technologies

The 13th International Congress of the European Federation for Medical Informatics, MIE'96, will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark, from 19 to 22 August 1996. It is organized by the Danish Society for Medical Informatics.
The theme of the congress is "Human facets in information technologies" and in particular the role of medical information technologies and telematics in the Information Society. There will be both lectures and workshop sessions, as well as a poster exhibition.
One afternoon session will discuss the role of the European Community's RTD programmes in medical information technologies, in particular the Telematics Applications programme in the field of health care.
