The European Information Technology Forum 1996, entitled "Visions of the Information Society", will be held in Paris, France, from 15 to 17 September 1996.

The forum will examine the most important challenges raised by the Internet revolution, and review the opportunities created by the new "wired consumer" market. It will also analyse the impact of networked computing on corporations, and the demands created by an increasingly global European market.

Speakers at the forum will include senior managers from the major IT companies, and IT analysts.
