A conference on "CYBERCITIES: Everyday life in digital cities" will take place in Rome, Italy, from 6 to 7 November 1996. It is organized by the City Council of Rome and Publica Organizzazione & Strategia.
The conference aims to analyse the impact of digital networks on the different aspects of everyday life (including work, mobility, culture, information and leisure).
Speeches will be given by representatives of DG XIII of the European Commission and the Telecities network (supported by the Community's Telematics Applications programme), by information providers and by the mayors of the main Italian cities.
