EUREKA brokerage event - Advanced shipping technology

A EUREKA brokerage event on advanced shipping technology will be held in Zeist, The Netherlands, from 11 to 12 December 1996. The event is organized by the EUREKA offices in several European countries and the European Commission.
The aim of the brokerage event is to bring together industrialists, suppliers and researchers active in the shipping industry to make contacts, exchange information and ideas, and develop and discuss proposals for cooperative RTD projects. The countries involved are Denmark, Finland, France, The Netherlands, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
There will be plenary sessions presenting the work of EUREKA and the Commission's "Maritime systems of the future" task force, as well as a number of workshops where participants with similar areas of interest will be able to work together to establish partnerships for RTD work. There will also be opportunities for participants to arrange personal meetings with others, on the basis of a catalogue distributed before the event.
Participation will be limited to those invited, on the basis of questionnaires submitted to the organizers.
