SMAU'96 - International Exhibition of Information and Communication Technologies

The SMAU'96 International Exhibition of Information and Communication Technologies will take place in Milan, Italy, from 18 to 22 October 1996. This yearly event offers an overview of the latest developments in the world of information and communications technology with sections covering information systems hardware and software, telecommunications and office products and systems.

This year's edition will include specialized sections on financial services, hospital systems, publication, networking, CATAL-CAD, software and printers. There will also be two new exhibition areas: Multimedia World and Internet Planet.

SMAU'96 will also present a tight schedule of international conferences addressing topical issues in this sector, as well as more technical conferences devoted to the various exhibition areas.

The selection of the 1996 SMAU Industrial Design Awards will be a central feature of the event. All the products selected among those submitted for the Award, one of the most prestigious in the sector, will be displayed within the SMAU exhibition area.
