A series of roadshows for multimedia producers entitled "Surviving the evaluation process" will be held in the UK during the period September to November 1996. The aim of the roadshows, which are organized by the UK Multimedia Special Interest Group (MM-SIG), is to provide information on the Commission's evaluation and selection procedures for multimedia projects within the ESPRIT and Telematics Applications specific RTD programmes.

The roadshows will provide advice and assistance to companies preparing project proposals for the ESPRIT and Telematics Applications programmes, and will be attended by representatives of the UK Department of Trade and Industry's ESPRIT unit.

The scheduled dates and venues for the roadshow are as follows:

- Heathrow, 11 September 1996;
- Bristol, 25 September 1996;
- Guildford, 26 September 1996;
- Coventry, 27 November 1996.

Further roadshows will be held in other areas of the country during October and November 1996.

The roadshows will be of particular interest to those considering submitting proposals following the ESPRIT call for proposals due to be launched on 15 September 1996.
