Belgian telecommunications meetings and exhibition

The Belgian Centre for Advanced Technologies (CTA) organizes an annual exhibition and meetings on a technological theme. The theme of this year's event, which will take place in Grand-Hornu, Belgium, from 12 to 27 October 1996, is "Telecommunications - applications in daily life". The meetings are supported by the European Social Fund (ESF).
The exhibition, which runs for two weeks, will include stands for telecommunications suppliers, banks, universities and education centres. The aim is to introduce the state-of-the-art in telecommunications to a wider range of users.
Four seminars will be held during the period of the exhibition:
- Telecommunications in the office: 16 October 1996;
- Business on-line: 18 October 1996;
- Telecommunications in the home: 22 October 1996;
- Telecommunications and education: 24 October 1996.
