LIFE II Symposium

A symposium on the Community's financial instrument for the environment, LIFE, will be held in Maastricht, The Netherlands, on 9 and 10 October 1996. The event is aimed at participants from Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg in particular.
The symposium, which will focus on industrial and local authority activities, aims to inform potential applicants for funding of the content and objectives of LIFE, and of the application process and selection criteria. Participants will be addressed by representatives of the European Commission, responsible for managing the LIFE instrument, who will give advice on the formulation of proposals. The experiences and results of LIFE projects already under way will also be presented.
