Information Days - BIOMED II

Two "Information Days" concerning the open call for proposals under the Community's specific RTD programme in the area of biomedicine and health (BIOMED II) will take place in Vienna and Innsbruck, Austria, on 17 and 18 October 1996 respectively. The Information Days are being organized by the Bureau for International Research and Technology Cooperation (BIT), in cooperation with the Austrian Ministry for Science, Transport and the Arts and the Ministry for Health and Consumer Protection.

The events aim to inform possible proposers about the specific criteria for the open call, the results of the first call and the experiences of successful Austrian proposers. Presentations will be given by Mr. Bill Baig of the European Commission, the Austrian delegates for BIOMED II and two successful proposers in the first call. The second part of the day will consist of workshops in which participants will be able to discuss project ideas and pose questions concerning application procedures.
