BRITE/EURAM Information Days - UK
The Information Days are being organized by the Institute for European Trade and Technology (IETT), in cooperation with Innovation Relay Centres, on behalf of the BRITE/EURAM Helpline and the Department of Trade and Industry. Speakers will include representatives of the European Commission, the BRITE/EURAM Helpline and CRAFT Focal Points in the UK. Evaluators and experts in the area of industrial and materials technologies will also be present.
The programme of each Information Day will include:
- Details of the final BRITE/EURAM call, due to be launched on 17 December 1996;
- Lessons from the previous call and advice to proposers;
- An update on developments in the Fifth Framework Programme;
- Case studies and parallel workshops;
- Demonstrations of CORDIS and ARCADE, information services for the research community;
- Consultations with speakers and experts.
Each Information Day will be followed by a Proposal Writing Workshop, which will build on the information and advice from the Information Day. This will enable prospective proposers to work on their proposals and ideas with the support of a team of BRITE/EURAM experts. The Workshops will include an in-depth briefing on all aspects of a proposal, followed by the opportunity to develop proposals on a one-to-one basis with the visiting experts.
The programme for the Information Days is as follows:
