SITE'97 - Information Technology and Teacher Education

The eighth international conference of the Society for Information Technology and Teacher Education (SITE) will take place in Orlando, Florida, from 1 to 5 April 1997.

SITE is an international association of individual teacher educators and affiliated organizations of teacher educators in all disciplines who are interested in the creation and dissemination of knowledge about the use of information technology in teacher education. The Society promotes research, scholarship, collaboration, exchange and support and actively fosters the development of new regional and national organizations.

The SITE'97 international conference will offer opportunities to share ideas and expertise on all topics related to the use of information technology in teacher education and instruction about information technology in pre-service, in-service, graduate teacher education and faculty and staff development. It will also provide a forum for the presentation of the latest research, developments and applications in this important field.
