A brokerage fair "Down Time To Market-Plus" (DTTM-PLUS) will be held in Veldhoven, The Netherlands, on 6 February 1997. The fair, which is being organized by the Innovation Relay Centre for The Netherlands, will focus on the area of "Advanced computer-aided tools for European industrial key sectors".
The objective of this fair is to assist European industrial companies in the process of matching technology supply and demand by:
- Presenting current results and applications of computer-aided tools developed under Community research programmes such as ESPRIT, BRITE/EURAM and CRAFT, and under certain national programmes;
- Stimulating further exploitation of these results;
- Encouraging the participation of SMEs in technology programmes.
The fair is mainly of interest for: the mechanical engineering, machine, metalworking and plastics industry, foundries and suppliers of (product-related) tooling equipment; suppliers of production machinery and tooling, as well as software companies interested in this sector; engineering consultants, industrial designers and innovation and technology transfer centres; RTD institutions and universities.
The Innovation Relay Centre for The Netherlands is a joint activity of: EG-Liaison, the national agency for European RTD programmes; Senter, the Dutch Technology, Environment and Energy Agency; the Dutch Innovation Centre Network which provides technology support and transfer for SMEs. It is funded by the Community's specific programme for the dissemination and exploitation of the results of activities in the field of research, technological development and demonstration (INNOVATION).
