A series of "Technology Transfer Days" will be held in Orléans, France, from 18 to 21 March 1997. The "Days", part of the Orléans Biennales trade exhibition, are organized by ARIST, the Innovation Relay Centre in Bourgogne/Centre-Val de Loire, France.

The aim of the "Days" is to allow companies to meet with potential buyers or partners for their technological developments. The event will be attended by a large number of high-technology companies from France and from the EU and Central and Eastern European countries. These companies may be offering or looking for services as manufacturers or sub-contractors, or simply for partners to develop particular technologies.

Meetings at the event will be facilitated by the circulation, in advance, of a catalogue of all participants. This will allow the identification of potential partners and the arrangement of meetings before the event. Each of the Technology Transfer Days will focus on a particular sector, as follows:

- 18 March: Electronics, computer technologies, robotics, energy;
- 19 march: Industrial and materials technologies, mechanics, plastics;
- 20 March: Environment;
- 21 March: Control and regulation, metrology, safety, maintenance.
