Partenariat Casablanca 1997 - Fishing industries

Partenariat Casablanca 1997 will take place, in Casablanca, Morocco, on 26 and 27 May 1997. Organized by the Federation of EU Chambers of Commerce in Morocco, the event is supported by the European Commission and the Moroccan government.

The aim of the event is to bring together Moroccan and European enterprises involved in the development of fisheries technologies, with the aim of creating opportunities for technology transfer, cooperation and commercial agreements.

On the Moroccan side, around 100 companies will be selected to exhibit at the event. A catalogue of the exhibitors will then be circulated in the EU Member States, with a view to attracting European companies interested in cooperating. Meetings will then be pre-arranged, so as to ensure maximum value from the event.

Sectors which will be covered by the exhibition are:

- Inshore fishing;
- Deep sea fishing;
- Shipyards;
- Equipment and fishing supplies;
- Aquaculture;
- Processing industries;
- Distribution of frozen products.
