The RUFIS'97 conference on the "Role of universities in the future Information Society" will take place in Prague, the Czech Republic, on 25-27 September 1997.
The conference is being organized by the Czech Technical University in Prague, under the auspices of the Czech Minister for Education, Youth and Sport, and with support from UNESCO, the International Association of Universities and the Central European chapter of the Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education.
RUFIS'97 will focus on a range of topics related to the impact of new information and communication technologies on higher and secondary education and the adaptation of educational systems toward lifelong learning for all.
