The 1997 Industry Week trade fair will take place in Lyon, France, from 13 to 16 May 1997. The fair is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Lyon.

Industry Week will bring together companies looking to form partnerships, of different types and in different areas, such as:

- Alliances;
- Logistics and services;
- Industry;
- Production.

As part of the Week, European technological meetings will be organized by the Chamber of Commerce and the Rhône-Alpes Auvergne Innovation Relay Centre. These meetings will be pre-arranged on the basis of a catalogue which will be distributed throughout the EU. They will allow companies to meet one-to-one, with a view to establishing cooperative ventures, such as technology transfer, licensing agreements or joint ventures.
