CIS Partenariat 1997

CIS Partenariat 1997 will be held in Moscow, Russia, on 20 and 21 February 1997. The event is being organized and funded by the TACIS programme, in collaboration with the Russian and Moscow governments.

The aim of the event is to provide an opportunity for SMEs from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Mongolia to develop lasting economic relations with companies from within the CIS and Mongolia and from the European Union. The event will foster business cooperation, trade and investment ties between SMEs.

Around 160 companies from Moscow and the Moscow region will exhibit, and some 800 companies are expected to visit the exhibition. Sectors to be covered will include:

- Textile and clothing;
- Construction;
- Metal production;
- Paper and printing;
- Food and drinks;
- Electrotechnics;
- Measuring and optical products;
- Furniture and wood;
- Information services.
