CEMSA'98, an international conference and exhibition on "Integrated environmental management in South Africa" will take place in East London, South Africa, on 9-11 February 1998. The conference, which is aimed primarily at public and private organizations in Germany and South Africa, is a joint initiative of the University of Fort Hare (South Africa), the South African institution of Chemical Engineers and the Gerhard-Mercator University of Duisburg (Germany).

CEMSA'98 will focus on industrial and scientific cooperation for an integrated environmental management. Speakers from both Germany and South Africa will explore contrasts between the two countries and present their experience in the environmental field.

Industrialists and scientists are invited to present papers and/or posters.
