France
The second European Telework Festival will take place in Serre-Chevalier, France, from 20 to 22 March 1997. The week is being organized by the SYSTEMIA Institute in cooperation with the Tourism Agency of Serre-Chevalier (Hautes-Alpes) and the French Teleworking and Teleactivities Association (AFTT). It is supported by DG XIII of the European Commission.

The festival provides an opportunity for all those interested in the field of teleworking to meet and exchange ideas on areas of particular interest. The three days of conferences and round tables will allow a wide range of issues to be covered. Conference sessions this year will focus on the following themes:

- Teleactivities and the "immaterial" economy (involving economic theories and analyses as applied to the teleactivities market);
- Teleworking and territory planning;
- Distance learning;
- Teleworking: new jobs and new forms of organization;
- Teleworking and social integration;
- Law and social issues of teleworking.
