Telematics for Language Engineering - Information Day

An "Information Day" focusing on the "Language Engineering" sector of the Community's specific RTD programme in the field of Telematics Applications of common interest will take place in Athens, Greece, on 21 February 1997.
The workshop is being organized by the Greek Innovation Relay Centre/National Documentation Centre, in collaboration with the General Secretariat for Research and Technology of the Institute for Language and Speech Processing.
The aim of the event is to present the "Telematics for Language Engineering" work programme, within the context of the latest call for proposals for the Telematics Applications programme, launched on 17 December 1996 (OJ No S 244 of 17.12.1996 p. 55). Opportunities will also be provided for establishing contacts and exchanging information with potential partners. The deadline for the submission of proposals under this call, which will dispose of an indicative budget of ECU 21 million in EU funding, is 15 April 1997.
