EuroPME - Community actions for SMEs

The second "EuroPME" symposium will be held in Metz, France, on 13 March 1997. The symposium is organized by the "Commission Europe des Conseillers du Commerce Exterieur de la France", with the support of DG XXIII of the European Commission and the "Département" of Lorraine.
The event will be attended by some 200 representatives of SMEs from Belgium, France, Germany and Luxembourg. The programme will cover the Community's Third Multiannual Programme for SMEs and perspectives for the introduction of the euro. These sessions will be complemented by parallel workshops on the following topics:
- Finding a partner in Europe;
- Partnership and trade outside the EU - Central and Eastern European countries and the New Independent States of the former Soviet Union;
- Establishment and development of SMEs using regional funds;
- Financing an R&D project.
