ISPO Information Day

The European Commission's Information Society Project Office (ISPO) is organizing an Information Day to be held in Brussels, Belgium, on 14 April 1997.
The aim of the Information Day is to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and the establishment of partnerships within the context of the call for proposals due to be launched, under the Information Society work programme, by the end of April 1997. This call will be for proposals in two domains:
- I: Helping to establish the Information Society;
- II: Understanding the political, economic and social impact of the Information Society.
Proposals for accompanying measures may also be submitted.
The Information Day will start with a brief introduction of ISPO and its activities. Following this, the proposers' forums for each domain will allow participants to give a short presentation of their organization and its activities, with the aim of finding potential partners for projects. ISPO staff will also be available to answer individual queries not addressed in the general presentations.
