An Innovation Forum on "Life Science - Opportunities for Industry and Technology" will be held in Stuttgart, Germany, on 26 March 1997. The event is being organized by the Innovation Relay Centre Steinbeis-Europa-Zentrum, in collaboration with the Steinbeis Foundation for Economic Development (Stiftung fr Wirtschaftsf"rderung), under the patronage of the Baden-Wrttemberg Minister for the Economy.
The aim of the forum is to demonstrate the potential of the latest developments in the medical field to decision makers from both the economic and clinical research and practice sectors. Examples of successful innovations, which have been developed thanks to close collaboration between these two sectors, will be presented.
The forum will highlight ways in which the latest developments can be applied by the participants in order to improve their products and services and expand into new markets. Information will also be given of how participants may intensify their research and development activities through the European research programmes.
