The thirteenth International Conference on Computer-Aided Production Engineering (CAPE'97) will be held in Warsaw, Poland, from 11 to 13 June 1997. The host organizer is the Warsaw University of Technology, a partner in the FEMIRC (Fellow Members to the Innovation Relay Centres) recently established in Poland.

The main themes of the conference are:

- CAD/CAM, CAE, CAPP and CAQ;
- Information systems, decision support and expert systems in production management and engineering;
- Flexible manufacturing systems, CIM;
- Simulation of manufacturing systems and processes;
- Robotics and automation of manufacturing processes;
- Concurrent engineering, rapid prototyping;
- Process monitoring.
