30 April 1997 - 30 April 1997
A Transborder Workshop on Biomass will be held in Hofgut Imsbach, Germany, on 30 April 1997. The workshop is being organized by the Saarland Energy Agency (SEA) and the Hofgut Imsbach Foundation as part of an action supported by the Community's JOULE/THERMIE RTD programme in the field on non-nuclear energy. It is targeted at participants from Luxembourg, France (Lorraine) and Germany (Saarland).
The aim of the workshop is to provide an overview of the latest technologies being developed with regard to the use of biomass in these regions, particularly through the presentation of successful European projects in this area. The programme will include presentations by experts in the field and discussions in small working groups. Possibilities for the development of transborder collaborative projects in this field will be examined.
