EUROAID'97, a conference and exhibition for those seeking business opportunities in EU-funded projects worldwide, will be held in Brussels, Belgium, from 11 to 12 June 1997.

The conference will have six sessions oriented towards industry sectors, rather than geographical areas as at previous EUROAID events. The aim of the event is to bring together all those involved in the EU-funded aid chain worldwide - donors, recipients and project implementors. These will include engineering, management, financial and legal consultants, manufacturers, procurement agencies, banks, construction companies, freight transporters, research and academic organizations, training and education organizations, and economic planning advisors.

Speakers will come from the appropriate European Commission Directorates-General, as well as from industry, trade federations and major banks. Some 300 delegates are expected to attend the conference, and the exhibition will feature around 65 exhibitors.
