INTERPRISE - Calendar of events

The INTERPRISE programme is an initiative of DG XXIII of the European Commission (Enterprise policy, distributive trades, tourism). Designed to support local, regional and national measures aimed at stimulating direct contact between businesses and the development of cooperation agreements between small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the programme consists of a series of business meeting events.
INTERPRISE events bring together SMEs through personalized and pre-arranged meetings which give ample scope for discussion and negotiation. These will often concentrate on a particular theme or sector of industry. Typical organisers of the events are chambers of commerce, development agencies, employers' federations, research, innovation and technical centres, consultants and Euro Info Centres.
INTERPRISE events scheduled to take place in 1997 include:
- INTERPRISE REHTEC (Assistive technologies for elderly and disabled persons): 26-27 May, Stra Brunn, Sweden;
- BIC INTERPRISE (Environmental technologies and electronics): 29-30 May, Edinburgh, UK;
- INTERPRISE TELEMATICS (Telematics for transport, elderly and disabled persons and the environment): 30-31 May, Berlin, Germany;
- INTERPRISE AGRINORD (Food processing industries - machinery, packaging, design, technology): 5-6 June, Vaasa, Finland;
- INTERPRISE DOUBS (Industrial sub-contracting): 10 June, Besançon, France;
- EXPLORATION EUROPE III (Petroleum industry): 11-12 June, Harstad, Norway;
- "PRODUITS ET PROCEDES EN AGRO-ALIMENTAIRES" (Food processing industries): 12-13 June, Amiens, France;
- INTERPRISE DATALINK (Printing, graphics and paper industry): 15-16 September, Lbeck, Germany;
- INTERPRISE TEXTILIA (Textile industry): 28-30 September, Erfurt, Germany;
- EUROPARTNERS '97 (Information and communication): Nykobing Falster, Denmark;
- INTERPRISE EUROINTERNET (Networking, Net software, Internet architecture, etc.): 10-11 November, Venice, Italy.
