Information Days for potential participants in Community RTD programmes will be held in the United Kingdom in June 1997. The Days are organized by the Institute of European Trade and Technology (IETT), based in London.
A seminar on the INCO-COPERNICUS call for proposals, launched on 15 April 1997, for cooperation with Central Europe and the New Independent States, will be held in London, United Kingdom, on 4 June 1997. A presentation of the call will be made by Dr. Rudolf Meijer, Head of Unit in DG XII of the European Commission, responsible for the programme. In addition, there will be presentations and case studies from the partner countries and from previous participants.
The INNOVATION programme is planning to launch the final call for proposals for technology transfer and technology validation projects on 17 June 1997. An Information Day relating to this call will be held in Nottingham, United Kingdom, on 5 June 1997. Presentations will be made by officials from the European Commission (DG XIII) and the INNOVATION programme Technical Assistance Unit, as well as from UK government officials and from previous participants in the programme.
Both events are designed to give potential participants in the call information from the formal presentations and from informal contact with speakers and representatives of Innovation Relay Centres and similar organizations. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet potential partners with a view to developing proposals.
