INCO-COPERNICUS Information Days - Bulgaria
The opening event will be held in Sofia on 29 May 1997 and is organised jointly with the Ministry of Education, the national coordinator for INCO-COPERNICUS. The keynote speaker will be Mr. Michele Genovese from DG XII of the European Commission, who will present the final call (launched on 15 April 1997) under INCO-COPERNICUS. Further events in the series will take place on:
- 2 June, in Dobrich;
- 3 June, in Varna;
- 4 June, in Rousse;
- 5 June, in Gabrovo;
- 11 June, in Plovdiv;
- 13 June, in Blagoevgrad.
The programme will cover the following topics:
- EU innovation policy and Bulgaria's European integration;
- The Fourth Framework Programme and INCO-COPERNICUS;
- Participation in the INCO-COPERNCUS programme: the experience of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
Dr. Nicholas Melanitis and Dr. Solon Zarkanitis of IRC Help Forward - the FEMIRC's twin partner in Greece - will attend the events in Varna and in Plovdiv to present the IRC Network and their experience in providing services to Greek SMEs and RTD institutions. Participants will also see online demonstrations of CORDIS and the FEMIRC Web site.
