Health and safety at work - Third Film and Multimedia Festival

The third European Health and Safety at Work Film and Multimedia Festival will take place in Edinburgh, United Kingdom, from 6 to 8 May 1998. The event is organized by the European Commission, DG V, and the UK Health and Safety Executive, as part of the UK's Presidency of the Council of the EU.

The aim of the festival is to raise awareness among producers and users of audiovisual products of the subject of health and safety at work. The three objectives of the festival are:

- To develop and promote the production and use - both quality and quantity - of audiovisual material on the subject of health and safety at work, including new media products such as CD-ROMs, multimedia and the Internet;
- To provide a forum for producers, commissioning parties and users to exchange opinions;
- To present the latest developments in audiovisual production.
