BULISC'97 - eLib and Telematics

A conference assessing recent developments in the telematics for libraries sector is being organized by the University of Bournemouth. The conference, which will take place in Bournemouth, UK, on 27-29 August 1997, will bring together participants in telematics applications projects being financed under the Community's specific RTD programme in the field of Telematics Applications, and by the UK eLib programme for the development of telematics applications in the libraries sector.

The Telematics Applications programme and the UK's eLib programme are developing independently applications which will have a major impact on libraries in the near future. This conference will bring together projects in key areas in order to allow potential users, as well as project workers themselves, to compare aims, objectives and results.
