Fifth International Conference on the P-NET Fieldbus System

The Fifth International Conference on the P-NET Fieldbus System will take place in Oxford, UK, on 11-12 September 1997. The conference, organized by the International P-NET User Organization, will provide participants with the latest information on the state-of-the-art of the European P-NET Fieldbus Standard (EN 50170 vol. 1).

The conference programme will include a range of papers to be presented by manufacturing companies, users and institutions. Tutorials will also be given on the principles of P-NET, and a small working exhibition will provide an opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience, using some of the latest operational techniques. In particular, the RACKS project, funded by the European Commission under the ESPRIT programme, will be discussed and applications specific to that project will be demonstrated.
