11th International Bled Electronic Commerce Conference

The 11th International Bled Electronic Commerce Conference will take place in Bled, Slovenia, on 8-10 June 1998. The Bled conference is an annual event organized jointly by the University of Maribor (Slovenia), the Slovenia Ministry of Science and Technology, the Slovenia Chamber of Commerce and the Slovenia Electronic Commerce Project.

The conference offers an important international forum for the exchange of information on all aspects of electronic commerce. The event consists of four main parts:

- A fully-refereed "Research Track", presenting the latest research in all areas of electronic commerce, EDI and inter-organizational systems generally;
- A "Business and Government Track", attracting leading industry and government figures from Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific region;
- An exhibition of information technology for electronic commerce;
- A "Graduate Students Consortium and Educational Symposium" designed to bring together graduate students and academic faculty to examine various aspects of electronic commerce.

The conference organizers are presently calling for the submission of research papers and proposals for panel discussions. Research papers should be original, unpublished elsewhere and preferably no longer than 5,000 words in length. The format of the paper should follow the instructions of the International Journal of Electronic Commerce.
