Postponement of conference on new developments in electronic copyright

The conference and workshop on new developments in electronic copyright, due to have been held in Copenhagen, Denmark, on 6 and 7 November 1997, will now be held on 12 and 13 February 1998.
The postponement is due to the Commission revising its timetable for the adoption of the proposed Directive on copyright, which is to be one of the main subjects for discussion at the conference. It is now hoped that the Commission will adopt its proposal at the end of November.
