Design of reliable communication networks

The first international workshop on the "Design of Reliable Communication Networks" will take place in Bruges, Belgium, on 17-20 May 1998. The workshop is organized by the Inter-University Microelectronics Research Centre (IMEC) and the University of Ghent, with support from the Community's specific RTD programme in the field of Advanced Communications Technologies and Services (ACTS).
The workshop will provide a forum for discussion and the exchange of ideas on problems in the area of network design and network reliability. A short course will, in addition, provide participants with the opportunity to expand their knowledge in this field. An accompanying exhibition will present latest developments in simulation and planning software.
