Research results in health and food sectors

The results of completed Community research projects in the fields of food and health will be presented at seminars in London, UK, on 10 February and 5 March 1998 respectively. The seminars are organized by the Institute for European Trade and Technology (IETT).

"New technologies for the food industry", in London on 10 February 1998, will present a number of completed projects supported under the FAIR programme. The seminar will include presentations of innovative solutions for the food industry, and pre-arranged meetings between project managers and food companies.

"New telematics applications for the health sector", in London on 5 March 1998, will demonstrate a number of projects completed under the Telematics Applications programme. Research consortia seeking to exploit their research results will demonstrate their applications. Pre-arranged meetings will be held with managers from the health sector interested in implementing the latest technologies.
