A Brokerage Event focused on the Non-nuclear Energies RTD programme will take place in Florence, Italy, on 30 January 1998. The event is organized by APRE, the Agency for the Promotion of European Research, ASSINDUSTRIA Firenze, the CESVIT/RECITAL Innovation Relay Centre and the European Commission (DG XII).
The event is particularly aimed at SMEs who may still submit proposals for cooperative research projects (CRAFT) until 8 April 1998 within the JOULE (research) sector of the programme. The event will give SMEs interested in submitting such a proposal the opportunity to meet prospective partners. SMEs will give presentations of their activities and have the chance to meet potential partners individually.
Participants will also hear from Commission officials and from others involved in CRAFT projects, as proposers, evaluators and as the research contractor engaged by the SMEs. The CRAFT Focal Point, a network with members in each Member State set up to help SMEs find partners and advise on participation in CRAFT, will give a presentation of the services it offers.
