MCEA'98 - Mediterranean Conference on Electronics and Automatic Control

MCEA'98, the Mediterranean Conference on Electronics and Automatic Control, will take place in Marrakech, Morocco, from 17 to 19 September 1998. The event is organized by the Faculté des Sciences et Techniques de Marrakech, the Université de Picardie Jules Verne (FR), and the Ecole Supérieure d'Ingénieurs en Génie Electrique (FR).

The conference will continue the work of MCEA'95, held in Grenoble, providing an international forum for scientists where the most recent developments and advances in electronics and automatic control will be presented and discussed. Among the topics to be covered are:

- Image and signal processing;
- Identification and modelling;
- Control and regulation;
- Neural network - fuzzy logic;
- Sensors and instrumentation;
- Microelectronics - CAO;
- Systems architecture;
- Information technology;
- Biomedical engineering;
- Local area network;
- Discrete event automation;
- Telecommunication;
- Education engineering.

The organizers are currently seeking papers for presentation at the conference covering any of the above topics. Authors should submit papers of up to four A4 pages in length, in either English or French, together with a short abstract in both English and French. The deadline for submission of papers is 28 February 1998.
