ACTS - TINA-C Workshop

The Telecommunications Information Networking Architecture Consortium (TINA-C) and the Commission's ACTS programme are organizing a workshop to discuss the structure and objectives of TINA work in the next three years. The workshop, which is open by invitation only, will take place in Brussels, on 16 February 1998.
The aim of the workshop is to bring together TINA-C, which has now delivered its planned architectural framework following five years of collaboration, and ACTS projects in related fields. TINA will be continued over the next three years, but in a revised structure. From now on, the consortium will be driven by working groups, and will aim to refine further the architecture specifications and facilitate the market-driven adoption of the architecture by a wide spectrum of industry.
The event will give the projects an opportunity to receive first hand information about the planned development of TINA and also to express and discuss their own views on TINA's work. Each project will make a presentation outlining its work and the links between it and TINA.
