Textiles technologies - EUREKA Brokerage Event

A EUREKA Brokerage Event in the field of innovative technologies for textiles will take place in Istanbul, Turkey, on 14 and 15 May 1998. The event is organized by a number of EUREKA members in the context of ever-stronger global competition in the textiles industry.

The event is aimed at encouraging the exchange of information and views on developments in the field, establishing international contacts and partnerships with a view to discussing collaborative R&D proposals, and identifying possible project funding sources. Participants are expected to arrive with concrete ideas for future cooperation projects, in order to ensure the best chance of successful discussions.

Likely themes to be covered at the meeting will include:

- Design processes and techniques;
- Product development;
- Production;
- Environment;
- Marketing.
