ICCC/IFIP Electronic Publishing '98

The second ICCC/IFIP conference on electronic publishing will be held in Budapest, Hungary, from 20 to 22 April 1998. The event is organized by the International Council for Computer Communications (ICCC) and the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP).

The theme of the 1998 conference will be "Towards the information-rich society". Two parallel tracks will address socio-economic issues and technical issues, while plenary sessions will cover the whole field of electronic publishing. A major objective of the conference is to promote exchanges of experience between the participants, particularly between academics undertaking research and publishers with practical experience in similar fields.

The conference will bring together participants from across Europe and beyond, and is aimed at anyone involved in the production, provision or use of electronic publishing and/or its products, or the academic study of these activities.
