VALUE Seminar: Keys to a successful European R&D project

A seminar aiding project managers involved in the development of ESPRIT projects will take place in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, on 6-8 July 1992. Organized on behalf of the VALUE programme in support of ESPRIT, the seminar will focus on:
- The legal, contractual and financial environment of the European Community and the potential cross-cultural problems posed by Europe's diversity.
- The specific problems raised by the development of cooperative projects for all kinds of European firms, including SMEs.
- The most recent project management methods and useful remedies to commonly encountered problems.
- The keys to a successful project which will open the doors to useful industrial results that benefit both the company and the Community.
Lecturers and discussion leaders have been selected for their academic proficiency or extensive involvement in European projects. Both lectures and case studies will be presented (English or French language). Attendance will be restricted in order to facilitate discussion.
