EADS 8 - University science in the Mediterranean

The eighth annual congress of the European Association of Deans of Science (EADS) will be held in Marseille, France, from 22 to 25 April 1998. The congress, which is expected to bring together some 200 participants from across Europe, will focus this year on "Sciences in the Mediterranean - Objectives and policies".
Topics to be addressed during the congress will include:
- Science in the Mediterranean: past glory or future challenge?
- Water, a common challenge;
- Science in the Mediterranean and its future development;
- Networks and types of scientific collaboration in the Mediterranean.
